What we collect

When you upload your Uber data export, we receive a ZIP file containing your Uber driving history. We use a small subset of that data to build your report:

• Trip records (timestamps, distance, status, product type)
• Payment records (fares, tips, fees — no bank account details)
• Driver profile (first name, operating city, rating — no phone or email)
• App analytics (GPS coordinates and online status only — no device IDs, IP addresses, or carrier data)

What we delete immediately

The moment we open your ZIP file, before reading any driving data, we permanently delete:

• Bank account and payment method information
• Email and SMS communications history
• Customer support ticket history
• Saved home and work addresses
• Rider app data (IP address, device model, carrier)
• Your phone number and email address

These files are on disk for milliseconds. They are never read, never stored, never transmitted.

How we use your data

We use your driving data solely to generate your personal performance report. We do not:

• Sell your data to any third party
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data to build profiles for marketing
• Train AI models on your personal data

Data retention

Your uploaded ZIP file is deleted immediately after processing. The charts and PDF report generated from your data are stored on our server for up to 7 days to allow you to download your report. After that, they are automatically deleted.

To request earlier deletion, email support@drivenbydata.ai with your job ID (shown in the URL of your results page).

Payments

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising pixels. The only session data we store is your job ID, used to retrieve your report.
